With a total amount of 82 movies, International Perspective section presented at the 44th Mostra brings to the Brazilian audience a selection of cinematographic productions from all over the world, from features screened and awarded in festivals the past year, to recent works of renowned directors and new film discoveries. In this section, both traditional cinematographies and others that hardly reach Brazil are represented.
In this year`s selection are films like the one that opens the event, Michel Franco`s New Order, awarded at Venice Film Festival and shown at San Sebastián and Toronto festivals, Vivos, by Ai Weiwei, and Miss Marx, by Susanna Nicchiarelli, also awarded at Venice Film Festival and shown at San Sebastián Film Festival.
