International Perspective
The last orders bell is rung at The Roaring 20s, a bar in Las Vegas. Times are changing and the place has to close. During one long day and night, the regulars swing by to get a drink or three, and to greet the person who has owned the place over the years. As the evening progresses, the mood becomes more and more wild and melancholy. In the shadows of the bright lights of Las Vegas, the reality is as unreal as the world the regulars are escaping from. The film is a mosaic of disparate lives, teetering between dignity and debauchery, reckoning with the past as they face an uncertain future, making a foggy memory of experience lost in empty shot glasses and puffs of smoke.
