Hong moves to Chongqing from Yinchuan with her daughter Ye after her divorce. Ten years after that, though Ye is still sentimentally attached to his father Feng, Hong’s new boyfriend Liu eventually moves into the house and lives together with them. Ye starts to get confused about Liu’s attitude towards her and she could barely distinguish care from offense. The feeling of ambiguity pushes her back to some old memories and dreams.
