Born in Portugal in 1971. He graduated in advertising at Fernando Pessoa University, in Porto, and directed TV spots, videoclips and works for television. He made short films like “Sink” (1999), awarded at the Locarno Film Festival, and the feature films “Bad Blood” (2006), “Noise” (2008), “Sadness and Joy in the Life of Giraffes” (2019, 43rd Mostra), “The Domain” (2019, 44th Mostra), and “Remains of the Wind” (2022, 46th Mostra), presented in film festivals like Cannes, Toronto, Venice and San Sebastián.
