Sarah Francis grew up in Beirut, Lebanon. There, she studied at the Institute of Scenic, Audiovisual and Cinematographic Studies. Since 2005, she has worked as a freelance director. She directed "Birds of September" (2013). "As Above, So Below" is her second feature film.
