Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1979. Mariani studied film at NYU and directed the short movie Rear View of the City (2003). He produced, among others, the features Kirill Mikhanovsky’s Fish Dreams (2006, 30th Mostra) as well as Heitor Dhalia’s Drained (2006, Jury Prize at the 30th Mostra) and Adrift (2009). He had his debut as a director beside Maíra Bühler with I Touched All Your Stuff (2014), presented at 38th Mostra.
