Born in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1949. His first work as a director was the documentary “Em Nome da Razão” (1980, 4th Mostra). Mostra also screened “The Nutty Boy – The Movie” (1995, 31st Mostra), “Love and Co.” (1997, 22nd Mostra), “The Secret Diamonds” (2014, 38th Mostra) and “Sludged” (2020, 44th Mostra).
