Born in Chester, England. He directed fiction and documentary features, among them "The Great Dome Robbery" (2002), "I Am Slave" (2010), and "Little Matador" (2012). "Death of a President" (2006), presented at the 31st Mostra, won the International Critics’ Award at the Toronto International Film Festival.
