Caetano Gotardo

Born in Vila Velha, Brazil, in 1981. He got his degree in film and video from the University of São Paulo’s School of Communications and Arts. He directed the short films "Areia" (2008), which opened the 2008 Semaine de la Critique in Cannes, "O Menino Japonês" (2009), "Os Barcos" (2012) and "Merencória" (2017). He also made the features "The Moving Creatures" (2012), presented at the 36th Mostra, and "Your Bones and Your Eyes" (2019), presented at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
