Born in Brazil in 1978. Bruna is a photographer, writer, and documentary filmmaker. She began her career in 2009, directing the short film "448" (2009) and co-directing the short "Moths" (2009). She participated in other productions as a producer and actress. "Checkmate" is her debut as a feature film director.
