With directing and narration on off by Maria de Andrade, one of the daughters of Joaquim Pedro de Andrade, highly commended at the 30th Mostra with a complete retrospective of his work, this short film shows the process, in detail, of restoration of the film Macunaíma. As from a former photochemical restoration of this same work, the many possibilities of digital recovery are shown. Alice and Antonio de Andrade, brother and sister to Maria de Andrade, were involved in camera work for this short film.
