The Promisse (2005)
Sobre o filme
A poor young orphan makes a vow so that she will be beautiful and powerful. In exchange, she would lose every man she fell in love with. Years later, she is a dazzling princess, and regrets the vows she made. Around her are three men in love with her: a general, his slave, and a duke. The princess is apparently fated to a solitary existence. But when another slave disguised as a general, saves her life, a strong, new feeling arises in her Heart. With passion, she experiences the bitter fate that destiny holds in store for her. Can true love supersede the most awful of promises? Composer Klaus Badelt, whose career began on TV and in German cinema, made the soundtrack for large-scale Hollywood productions such as The Recruit (2003), Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Constantine (2005), and Poseidon (2006). This is his first incursion into oriental cinema.
