The Nature of Existence (2009)
Sobre o filme
This documentary seeks answers to the mysteries of the Universe: Why are we here, and what are we supposed to do about it? Where did the Universe come from, and was it a mistake? Does God exist, and why does he seem so interested in our sex lives? As he roams the globe to the source of each of the world’s philosophies and belief systems, Nygard meets physicists, cosmologists, biologists, psychologists, spiritual leaders, artists, pizza chefs, and others who have influenced, inspired, or freaked out humanity. Nygard highlights thoughts from such luminaries as His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (The Art of Living Foundation), evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins (The God Delusion); Stanford physicist Leonard Susskind (co-discoverer of string theory), wrestler Rob Adonis (founder of Ultimate Christian Wrestling), evangelist Brother Jed Smock, director Irvin Kershner (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back) and the body of Pope John XXIII.
