In a journey through the Xingu River, the documentary collects stories of lifetime inhabitants that will be affected by the possible construction of the Belo Monte dam. Riparian and indigenous people, small farmers, inhabitants of the Altamira Region, in the Amazon, as well as specialists share their thoughts and take part on this complex puzzle. Reflections about the obscure past of this polemic project help to enlighten the unsure future of the region and of the people that live in the banks of Xingu.
