Rosa Wine (2005)
Sobre o filme
At the time of Inconfidência Mineira, a movement pro-independence in the state of Minas, the reverse side of conspiracy. A child is brought up in a convent with no knowledge whatsoever of her origins. She is Joaquina, the only legitimate child of Tiradentes, the hero of the movement pro-independence. She was torn away from her mother when she was only three. Brought up in the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Convent, she has grown into a charming, lively young lady, even though she was brought up so strictly. At the age of 18, she discovers she is Tiradentes? daughter and that her mother is alive. She decides to take a new course in life and so, gradually, tells of what happened to the wives of the other inconfidente members of the revolutionary group. A delicate portrayal of the Minas barroque, in a lyrical and poetic retracing of the history of Brazil.
