The Venezuela National System of Youth Symphony Orchestras has an enormous cultural and social impact on the life of young people in the country. More than a musical phenomenon, these orchestras have wrought a social revolution within Venezuela, producing citizens and giving a chance to thousands of youngsters. Over 250 thousand children have been part of the system of orchestras over the last years. The documentary follows along with day-to-day life for six of these children whose lives were transformed by music. The film also includes interviews with important names in classical music such as tenor Placido Domingo and conductors Claudio Abbado and Sir Simon Rattle, among others.
