The Yellow Tag (2004)
Sobre o filme
Sheep graze from afar. Cows roam the fields side by side. As we get closer to the scene, this peaceful view is altogether broken by the yellow plastic tags hanging from the animals’ years. Cows, sheep and pigs, all of them have to be tagged, registered and checked, not by order of the Ministry of Agriculture, but driven by EU demand. The shock between this idyllic pastoral setting and the European food industry’s rigid requirements is the film’s central theme.
