A Time for Drunken Horses (2000)
Sobre o filme
In the Iranian Kurdistan, close to the Iraq frontier, orphan children of one same family are abandoned to their own fate. The youngest brother is seriously ill. The doctors say he has only one month to live unless he is operated on. With no other choice, his sister agrees to marry an Iraqi who is willing to help them out financially. At the frontier, the family of the groom refuse to accept the sick brother and choose, rather, to provide him with a horse he can make a living with on his own. He goes back to Iran with a brother, however, the time he has been given for the operation is running short.
