Taxidermia (2006)
Sobre o filme
The history of Hungary and of Central Europe is presented as a horror story by means of the lives of three generations (grandfather, father, and son), all the way from World War I, running through the implanting of the communist regime, down to our present times. The grandfather is a hospital assistant, a dreamer, in search of love; the father, a man who thrives on past glory and yearns for success; the son, a taxidermist on the trail to immortality. The script is based on the short stories by Lajos Parti Nagy, and the soundtrack is by Amon Tobin, born in Rio de Janeiro and keen on trip-hopping.
