Sonata for Hitler (1979)
Sobre o filme
Provocative as from the title, this film was made in 1979, but was banned for ten years. Sonata for Hitler is based on a lyric montage with scenes from the archives of the end of the war between Germany and Russia: Nazi generals and their victims, the landscape devastated, scenes of generalized horror, the Soviet victory won at such an enormous cost. On the screen, are the dates of the death of both Hitler and Stalin, forging analogies between the dictators, two men responsible for the destruction on a vast scale of the body and soul of the Russian nation.
