Hêlin is a girl of 21 who grew up with her father and her grandmother in Turkey. On his death bed, the father asks her to go in search of her mother and sister who left for Germany many years previously. A white feather Hêlin finds after her father?s death serves as her guide. In Berlin, she soon finds her mother and sister. But her journeyings are not over. The white feather appears to her in her dreams and leads her to strange places, to a future apparently nigh. In one of these dreams, she meets an unknown man repeatedly and marries him. She confides in her grandmother who prophesizes that her dream will come true. And, one day, sure enough, she crosses the path of the man in her dreams.
