Avery Ludlow lives a very reclusive life with his most cherished friend by his side... his dog, Red. When three kids kill Red with a shotgun at point blank range for no good reason, Ludlow turns to everyone including the law for help to no avail. He then takes it upon himself to seek justice and redemption by any means necessary.
