Sobre o filme
A story by Bernardo Bertolucci with a strong autobiographical component. Fabrizio, a young Marxist relies on Cesare, a university professor, for intellectual mentor. With the suicide of his best friend, however, Fabrizio experiences a crisis of anguish. His aunt, Gina, an older, neurotic woman is the one to console him and, sorry as she is for him, starts an affair with her own nephew. One day, however, she leaves town and, in his disappointment, Fabrizio gives up his revolutionary ideas. To Cesare`s despair, his pupil decides to get married and become a member of the bourgeoisie. This film has never been shown in Brazil
