Pett and Pott (1934)

 Sobre o filme
Pett and Pott is a false moral short story devised to promote the use of the telephone. Pett invests in a telephone system while Pott, who is decadent, uses his money to keep a maid at home. The lack of a telephone generates constant misunderstanding and useless discussion. To have a telephone set means organization and progress. Cavalcanti, however, manages to ridicularize the initial Manicheism showing both families as equally odious, but charming.
