The Subversives (1967)
Sobre o filme
Four stories of militancy unfold around the funeral of Palmiro Togliatti, leader of the Italian Communist Party: one director abandons cinema to travel the world in search of more direct contact with reality and with mankind; a Venezuelan exile returns to his country to take over the post of one of his peers who has been assassinated; an employee of the PCI faces a marital crisis; and a philosopher devotes himself to photography and proves counter-conformist and individualistic. The film has never been shown on the commercial circuit in Brazil.
