Some big names in Italian television disappear misteriously. The crime shocks the star of the program Sonia Norton Show and she labels the event as “an unprecedented attack”. On the kidnappers‚Äô trail is inspector Lucia Allasco, back in business after an emotional breakdown following a police operation gone awry two years earlier. To help her in the case, she is assisted by her former colleague Franco Berardi. As the investigation progresses, the officers suspect there’ a strong connection between the disappearances and the powerful Sonia Norton. From then on, the plot plunges into a world where appearances are everything, and even the quietest of men can turn into a ruthless murderer.
