La Señal (2007)
Sobre o filme
Pibe Corvalán, from the vantage point of his forty-odd years, seems to be settled into a fairly predictable life. Together with Santana, his partner and friend, he owns a modest detective agency that only attracts minor cases. He lives with his dog Lobo in the house that had belonged to his parents, and has a more or less stable relationship with Perla, the neighborhood piano teacher. Outside the office, the places he goes most often are the horse races and the pool parlor. It is 1952. Eva Perón lies dying, and with her, all forms of life in Argentina are also on their deathbed. But for Corvalán, there is another change knocking on the door, one that answers to the name of Gloria. Escorted by her driver, the beautiful woman appears in his office to awaken him from his apathetic routine. Gloria offers him a good deal of money, more than usual, to follow and photograph a man named Perturato. Sensing that the woman is withholding information, Corvalán takes on the case. A few days later, and after submitting the first report of the investigation, Perturato turns up dead. An angry Corvalán demands an explanation from Gloria. Scared and helpless, the woman seems to open up to Corvalán and little by little, tells him a violent tale of rivalry and revenge. Her Norwegian husband, Albrechtsen, was responsible for the death of the Capuano clan, but a survivor of the massacre returned to exact revenge on him and on all those around him. Gloria is in danger and Corvalán is the only person who is willing to help her.
