Henri Georges Clouzot’s Inferno (2009)
Sobre o filme
In 1964, Henri-Georges Clouzot`s tempestuous shoot of L’Enfer, with Romy Schneider and Serge Reggiani, comes to a sudden halt after three weeks. The film was an enigmatic and original big-budget project, a delirious drama about the hallucinations of a Provence hotel’s manager madly jealous of his wife. Destined to be a great hit at its release, the film laid dormant, never to be touched again; its images and legends remaining a myth. The directors found the canisters which contained screen tests and scenes from the film. By successfully recomposing the lost work he creates a new film, bringing the old one back to life.
