Sobre o filme
In 1797, a savage, a boy, is captured in a forest in Aveyron where he has always lived. He is first taken to a center for deaf-mutes where he becomes the object of every type of curiosity. He is then taken in by Dr Itard who firmly believes it is possible to change the savage boy into a normal male. He names him Victor and subjects him to tests that prove he is endowed with sensitivity and intelligence. Itard fails to make him speak, but wins his affection.
