Marighella (2011)
Sobre o filme
A portrait of Carlos Marighella (1911-1969), a militant from Bahia who for decades fought against Brazilian social injustices. Since his youth in Bahia, his years of militancy at the Communist Party, his prisons during the Vargas government, his actions as a congressman, until the violent years of military repression, when he became public enemy number 1 of the Brazilian dictatorship. The movie interviews the leader’s widow, Clara Charf, and other members of the militancy who fought side by side, among other emblematic figures of the resistance to the military oppression in Brazil, like the critic and writer Antonio Cândido.
