Play My Tongue (2007)
Sobre o filme
A letter written by director Lucia Castello Branco to poet Manoel de Barros retraces the path of a journey made by Gabriel, Rafael, João and Júlia to meet the Matogrosso author, traveling through a landscape of words. This scene is cut by another, which of Barros readers focused on through statements gathered from the point of view of affection and friendship. Taken in its dimension of an encounter, the poetry in the course of the journey, makes up the “portrait of the artist when an object”. Statements include those of book lover José Mindlin, singer Maria Bethânia and Mozambique writer Mia Couto.
