Bergman Och Filmen, Bergman Och Teatern, Bergman Och Farö (2004)
Sobre o filme
In a series of interviews, divided out into three documentaries, Swedish film maker Ingmar Bergman describes his life and his passions in his own words. The camera follows along with his day-to-day routine, on the lonely island of Faro, including after-breakfast walks "because demons are not fond of fresh air", as he himself puts it. He expounds on his ideas on theater and cinema crystal clear - these were two arts where he distributed his talent equally, although his international fame stems from films such as Wild Strawberries, Cries and Whispers, Face to Face, Scenes from a Marriage, Autumn Sonata, Fanny and Alexander. The film is a portrait of the dense, restless maturity of one of the most important film makers of the twentieth century.
