Hyena (2006)
Sobre o filme
The action takes place in Silesia, in Poland. Maly is a teenager whose father died in an accident in a coal mine. He lives with his mother and their house in the middle of a swamp full of industrial residue. A hyena hunter is rumored to live there. Maly is scared stiff of hyenas, and is frightened out of his wits every time he has to go that way on his way to school. He is protected by a man who lives in a wooden shack in these swampy marshlands. The man is thought to conceal someone. Maly helps him as far as possible and brings him food in exchange for protection from the hyenas. Concomitantly, children begin to disappear from neighboring towns. When a girl does not come home, Maly begins to suspect of the man.
