Giuseppe Tornatore - A Dream Dreamt in Sicily (2000)
Sobre o filme
"Tornatore is not only an Italian director. He is Sicilian and this makes a difference. In his life and in his work, we once more find a metaphor, obviously from Sicily and the Sicilian situation", said Welsh director Marc Evans who made this portrait of the life and work of the director of Cinema Paradiso (1988) that even today is enthusiastically received by spectators. The director also directed features such as Stanno Tutti Bene, with Marcello Mastroianni and Una Pura Formalitá, with Gérard Depardieu and Roman Polanski. "There is also great curiosity around the story of this truly remarkable man who began life filming documentaries in Sicily and who, at the age of 32, had already won an Oscar", says Director Evans.
