Ferreri, I Love You (2000)
Sobre o filme
Script writer Ghione and producer Sansone remember the first years for Marco Ferreri in cinema. In Spain, Rafael Azcona speaks of Ferreri?s difficulties in writing about women whom he has always regarded as mysterious. Michel Piccoli also goes back over the first encounter for filming Dillinger è Morto. Roberto Benigni recites poetry that he made to his teacher. These are not statements by actors. Technicians and friends also talk of the Italian film maker, director of classics such as La Grande Bouffe (1973), Storia di una Ordinaria Folia (1982), Storia de Piera (1983), A Carne (1991), and Nitrato d?Argento, part of the 20th Mostra, in 1996. Interviews were recovered from files in French and Italian television studios and extracts from films, to piece together a veritable jig-saw about the film maker. "I didn?t know him very well; however, working with his films for this documentary, I was completely taken by his talent, fascinated by his manner of talking", says Director Fiorella Infascelli.
