Anthropological comedy filmed entirely in modern Ceará, a state in continuous development. The film reflects day-to-day middle-class life with its conflicts, mysteries, disillusion, and love and the feminine universe, in its multiple aspects including situations at the same time contrasting and personal. In an atmosphere charged with memories, a family gathers for a wedding of one of four sisters. The film revolves around the arrival of the two sisters who live abroad, encounters with friends, up-dating on several types of relationship, and the impact on their disposition, as a result of urban violence in its most diverse aspects. This is a film about love and women. Félix Monti is photography director, in activity since the mid-60s with such as The Official Story (1985, selection for the 9th Mostra) and El Viaje (1992, Best Photography at the Cannes Film Festival). The film was awarded Kikitos for actress (Maria Zilda Bethlem) and supporting actress (Lídia Mattos) at the 2000 Gramado Film Festival.
