Eros Plus Massacre (1969)
Sobre o filme
Film biography of anarchist Sakae Osugi, assassinated by the police in 1923. The story tells of his relationship with three women: Yasuko Hori, his first wife; Noe Ito, the second, who was to die with him, and Itsuko Masaoka, known as ‘Madame K’, a militant for women’s rights who attempts to kill him in a tea house in 1916. Parallel to the reconstitution of Osugi’s life, two students do research on the political theories and ideas of free love that he upheld. The characters from the past and from the present meet and engage in the discussion.
