Daybreak. Some women sing while looking fixedly at a Christ’s figure nailed to a cross on the side of a road. Later, a drunken peasant staggers and falls while passing by the crucifix, and as he is standing back on his feet he looks at the image as if he had been reprimanded by God. A few minutes later, a luxury car stops right in front of the figure and two men get off the vehicle. One of them urinates on the tree opposite the crucifix. In the afternoon, a group of kids led by a priest say as they look at the crucifix: “Blessed be God”. The priest smiles benevolently. A series of events take place at this spot until two men replace the Christ on the crucifix for a much more colorful and smiling one.
