Dogtown and Z Boys (2000)
Sobre o filme
In the sixties, a group of boys exchanges the ocean for the sidewalks on sunny afternoons in California. They invent the skate and begin to influence teenagers the world over. This was the Zephyr Team, later known as Z-Boys. More than sport, the group influenced all of a way of life, and intervened in themes such as fashion, sex, drugs, music, and behavior. Today, 25 years later, members of the group go back over the origins of the movement. The film won the Award from the Public at the Sundance Festival. The narration is by actor and director Sean Penn, present at the 26th Mostra as director of one of the episodes in 11’09’’01 - September 11.
