Brothers Jeferson and Washington and their friend Kennedy live on the outskirts of São Paulo. Jeferson leaves to study at the Military School in Rio de Janeiro. The other two remain in São Paulo, and without prospects, they soon become involved with the drug traffic. With news of the death of Washington, Jeferson comes to São Paulo and, together with Kennedy, tries to find his brother’s body. They have to cross the center of town. During the trajectory, travelling by bus and by train, they feel the difficulties of day-to-day living in a big city, they remember one important fact in the past and learn once more the significance of their friendship. The film was awarded the Prize from the Critics and that for Best Film, Script, and Directing at the Gramado Festival.
