Sobre o filme
According to one of the most characteristic sources of Iranian cinema, the film tells a real story, interpreted by its real protagonists. The central character is a polygamous man who has five wives and 50 children, forming by himself a village in the south of Iran. He believes he exploits his wives and children, but, in fact, is also exploited by his master, since all his family works in his master’s farm, only to make free use of a better place to live. Finally, his master promises to build him a house. That is when greater dilemmas begin.
