The Way Home (2005)
Sobre o filme
Gassen was a farming village at an altitude of 1,600 ms, east of the Tyrol. In 1965, it became a ghost town, after a landslide that destroyed two houses and killed six. After the tragedy, the remaining inhabitants, abandoned the site. For 35 years, Gassen was inhabited only by two brothers. Today, no road connects the village to the rest of the world, only a steep mountain path. The isolation of Gassen, however, is today under threat. A new generation has grown, and the fear of a second landslide has been overcome. The tiny village is now the focus of multiple interests, including tourism.
