The life and work of singer Severino Xavier, better known as Biliu of Campina. A former lawyer and musician by choice and vocation, his songs are filled with humor and irony, creativity and intelligence. A fierce critic of what is called stylized forró, Biliu defends the traditional musical roots of the Northeast region of Brazil, as well as his beliefs that the rhythms are born from natural manifestations of the people. An advocate of popular culture and of his land, he has become a cultural patrimony of the city of Campina Grande, Paraíba.
