Apolônio Brasil (2002)
Sobre o filme
A young writer attempts to retrieve the brain of his father, a famous musician in the past, from the hands of a mad scientist who tries to transform the organ in a profitable international business. Following the incidents involving the brain, little by little the film unveils the soul of a nocturnal artist, through the songs and stories narrated by his friends, as it opens the curtains of the past onto the feverish nights of the 50’, 60’ and 70’, when Apolônio Brasil reigned with his piano, his talent and his irreverence. Apolônio Brasil was the last film of the actor José Lewgoy, who died in February this year.
