Day Break (2005)
Sobre o filme
In Iran, the main form of punishment, in accordance with Islamic laws is to grant the victim?s family full rights over the criminal?s life. The film, based on a series of real stories that occurred in an old prison, revolves around the impending execution of Mansour, a man sentenced for murder. The family of the victim repeatedly fail to attend on the set day, and Mansour?s execution is invariably postponed. Locked up in a purgatory in his own mind, he bides his time, divided between life and death, punishment and forgiveness.
