Accompanied by a small filming crew, directors Pierre Creton and Vincent Barré follow paleobotanist Mark Brown through the Pays des Caux region in Normandy as he searches for native plants. Brown’s goal is to create an ancestral garden from the specimens he collects. With the tenderness of a true expert, he speaks about the etymology, beauty, and scientific properties of the region’s flora.
Winner of the National Center for Visual Arts Award at the FIDMarseille.
